The United States will no longer be participating in the planning or execution of the W.H.O. Vaccine Initiative, according to a report from Reuters. "There will be no US participation," a spokesman said in an email reply to a query. "We look forward to learning more about this initiative in support of international cooperation to developer a vaccine for COVID-19 as soon as possible." This comes a week after the U.S. cut funding to the W.H.O., as it's the largest donor to the organization. This is a developing story. We will keep you updated.
